'Serious' crash blocks major south Essex road with severe delays in area (Image: Google Street View)
THE A13 is blocked in south Essex after reports of a serious crash.
The major road is blocked Basildon-bound between Pitsea Flyover and Sadlers Farm.
This is due to a "serious crash" according to Essex County Council's traffic alerts.

There are currently severe delays back to Orsett.
This congestion is not helped by the A127 problems including issues with traffic lights at Fairglen Interchange and another earlier crash at Rayleigh Weir.
Surrounding routes are severely congested.
