One of Britain's ‘national treasures’ has announced a new show which will be stopping at a venue in Southend.
Much-loved actress and comedian Miriam Margolyes will be at the Cliffs Pavilion on September 6, 2026, where the audience can “join her in conversation for stories from the new book, naughty confessions, and a no-holds-barred Q&A where no question is off limits”.
This performance is only one part of a new tour Miriam has announced following the success of her BBC series ‘Miriam Margolyes: A New Australian Adventure’.

Miriam is best known for her work as Professor Sprout in the Harry Potter film series, as well as receiving the Bafta for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Mrs Mingott in Martin Scorsese's The Age of Innocence.
Tickets for the Cliffs Pavilion show are on sale now at trafalgartickets.com/cliffs-pavilion-southend/en-GB/event/other/miriams-full-english-live-tickets and range from £46 to £79.35.
Audience members must be 14-plus at the discretion of a parent or guardian.
