Ultimate Elvis tribute artist among acts coming to Westcliff

The Cliffs Pavilion in Westcliff is set for a busy start to the new year, with a varied programme of musicals, comedy, music and dance taking to the stage.

While there is plenty more still to come, these five stand-out shows are among the highlights audiences can look forward to over the next four weeks.

Leading the line-up from Tuesday, January 13 to Saturday, January 17 is The Bodyguard.

The international smash-hit musical returns with a star cast including Sidonie Smith as Rachel Marron and Olivier Award nominee Adam Garcia as Frank Farmer.

Based on the iconic film, the show blends romance and suspense with a soundtrack packed full of Whitney Houston classics, including I Wanna Dance With Somebody, Run to You and I Will Always Love You.

Music fans can then step back into rock ’n’ roll history on Saturday, January 24, when Dean Z: The Ultimate Elvis arrives direct from the USA.

Winner of Elvis Presley Enterprises’ Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest, Dean Z recreates the King’s career from the early hits to the Las Vegas years.

Backed by an 11-piece band and immersive visuals, the show promises an electrifying celebration of Elvis Presley’s legacy.

On Sunday, January 25, K-POP LIVE! brings a high-energy tribute to the global phenomenon that has taken the world by storm.

Featuring slick choreography, bold visuals and chart-topping anthems inspired by acts such as BTS, BLACKPINK and SEVENTEEN, the show offers fans an immersive concert experience packed with colour, movement and modern pop culture.

Comedy takes centre stage on Saturday, January 31, with Chris McCausland: Yonks!.

The much-loved comedian, known for appearances on Strictly Come Dancing and Would I Lie to You?, returns with a brand-new stand-up show.

With sharp observations and self-deprecating humour, Chris McCausland promises a laugh-out-loud performance that has been years in the making.

Rounding off the run on Sunday, February 1, is The Nutcracker, performed by the Varna International Ballet and Orchestra.

This magical production brings a beloved score to life with lavish staging, special effects and a live orchestra, making it a perfect family treat to close out the month.

With blockbuster theatre, world-class tributes and live comedy on offer, the Cliffs Pavilion is set for an exciting few weeks ahead.
