The Palace Theatre in Westcliff is preparing for an exciting few weeks of live entertainment, with music, and sporting stories all taking centre stage.

While the venue’s full programme is packed with variety, these five stand-out events are among the highlights audiences can look forward to in the coming weeks.

Music fans can kick things off on Sunday, January 25 with The Sound of Springsteen.

Celebrating 40 years since the release of Born in the USA, this world-class tribute production captures the energy and spirit of Bruce Springsteen’s legendary live performances.

Featuring thunderous guitars, iconic saxophone lines and powerful vocals, the show journeys through classics from Born to Run to more recent material, offering a night of pure rock ’n’ roll nostalgia.

Professor Brian Cox: Warm Up will take centre stage when it arrives at the Palace Theatre on Tuesday, January 27.

Fresh from his globally successful Horizons tour, the renowned physicist invites audiences to an intimate evening of ideas and exploration as he prepares material for his next major show.

The following night, Wednesday, January 28, is set to rock as Radio Ga Ga brings the music of Queen to life.

This high-energy tribute recreates the spectacle, fun and showmanship of the band’s touring heyday, with hits including Bohemian Rhapsody, We Will Rock You and Don’t Stop Me Now.

It promises two hours of sing-along anthems and crowd-pleasing moments.

On Friday, January 30, acclaimed guitarist and singer Joanne Shaw Taylor takes to the stage.

Known for her electrifying performances and soulful songwriting, she will perform tracks from her latest album Black & Gold, alongside fan favourites and blues-rock classics.

With powerful vocals and virtuoso guitar work, the show is set to be a highlight for live music lovers.

Rounding off the run on Tuesday, February 3 is An Evening With Jeff Stelling.

The legendary Sky Sports presenter will share behind-the-scenes stories from more than 30 years in football broadcasting, alongside hilarious anecdotes and heartfelt tales from his charity work.

Hosted by Bianca Westwood, the evening also features audience Q&A and limited VIP meet-and-greet opportunities.

With rock tributes, thought-provoking talks and unforgettable storytelling, the Palace Theatre’s upcoming line-up promises a lively start to the year.
