A variety of events are taking place across south Essex this weekend.
From hands-on animal encounters and nostalgic singalongs to live music festivals and family craft sessions, there are options for all ages to enjoy.
Families can head to Scott’s of Southend in Rochford on Saturday, February 21, for Meet The Farm Animals.
Hosted by Gemma’s Farm, the indoor experience gives children the chance to stroke and cuddle a range of farm animals, take photos and learn fascinating facts from the experts.
Taking place inside a polytunnel, the event offers an all-weather activity during half-term, providing a calm and friendly setting for young animal lovers.

Music fans are in for a treat at The Paddocks on Canvey on Saturday, February 21, with two events taking place across the day.
In the afternoon, The Ultimate Cockney Sing Along runs from 1pm to 4pm, inviting guests to clear their throats and join Tom and his crew for a traditional East End knees-up.
The show promises music hall favourites, wartime classics and well-known tunes spanning the decades, celebrating the spirit of the vintage singalong scene.
Later that evening, The Essex Indoor Ska & Reggae Festival takes over The Paddocks from 5pm to 11pm.

On Sunday, February 22, The Little Loves Fayre Basildon & Wickford will be held at The Nevendon Centre in Wickford from 11am to 2pm.
The free-entry event celebrates every stage of parenthood, from pregnancy to teens, and features small businesses, sweet treats and family-friendly facilities, including baby changing and free parking.
