Stansted Airport already offers an array of exciting destinations to choose from, but there are several new services coming in 2026 that you may want to try.
New routes are often added to airports to expand their offerings to customers and support economic growth.
As well as exciting new routes added to Stansted Airport for 2026, the airport is also welcoming two major new airlines to its lineup.
Stansted Airport's new airlines coming in 2026
There are two huge airlines that will be arriving at Stansted Airport this month.
First is Turkish Airlines, which is one of the world’s largest carriers.
It will make its debut at the airport on March 18 and will be flying to Istanbul up to 15 times a week.
Flights to the Turkish city open up onward connections to 353 destinations across Asia, Africa, Australia, and beyond.
Turkish Airlines’ general manager for London, Mehmet Gurulkan, said: "We are delighted to launch flights from Stansted, further strengthening our commitment to the UK market.
"By operating from Stansted, we are happy to support the airport’s continued growth and contribute to job creation and economic development in the region."
The second airline arriving at the Essex airport is the Algerian national carrier Air Algérie.
It will join Stansted on March 28 after ending its long-running service at London Heathrow, with Stansted Airport becoming its only London gateway.
The airline currently operates four weekly flights to Algiers and plans to increase frequency to between one and two flights daily during the summer.

There is also an array of exciting new routes coming to Stansted Airport this year.
The new routes are coming across six different airlines, offering passengers plenty of choice this year.
Ryanair
Budget airline Ryanair will be adding two new routes to its list at Stansted.
The first is more services to Glasgow from March 29, with it also adding new flights to Malmo in Sweden from April 1.
easyJet
Another budget airline adding new routes to its roster is easyJet.
It has already begun flying to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris (as of March 5).
Jet2
Another popular airline, Jet2, will be expanding its summer programme with three new routes, with the first being to Jerez in Spain beginning on May 1.
It will then add flights to Samos in Greece from May 7 and La Palma in the Canary Islands later in the year, from October 26.
TUI
TUI is adding a new route to Kos in time for summer 2026, a frequently visited holiday hotspot for Brits.
The airline will introduce flights to the popular Greek Island from May 7.
AJet
AJet is a Turkish low-cost airline, with its only base in the UK at London Stansted Airport.
AJet will launch flights to Bodrum in Turkey this summer, starting from June 26.
BA CityFlyer
The final new route will come from British Airways Cityflyer, a subsidiary of British Airways.
BA CityFlyer will start services to Olbia in Sardinia from May 23.
