A man in his seventies has died following a car crash in Brentwood, after being taken to hospital with "serious injuries".
The pedestrian, from Carshalton in the London Borough of Sutton, was taken to hospital on Tuesday March 3 following the crash on Warley Hill near Brentwood railway station at 4.35pm.
After sustaining "serious injuries" in the crash, he sadly died in hospital on Friday March 6.
Essex Police confirmed the death and issued an appeal to anyone who has any information to get in contact with them.
