The M25 has been shut following a crash between three lorries in the early hours of the morning.

Long delays continue throughout the morning on the clockwise carriageway between Junction 27 at the M11 and Junction 28 at Brentwood.

The crash caused fuel spillage on the road, and all emergency services have been called to the scene, according to National Highways.

Motorists were trapped in the closure for nearly two hours, but are now crawling past in lane one.

Drivers are being diverted via the M11 north of Harlow, then the A414 to Chelmsford and the A12 back to London.
