Two of the UK's biggest comedy acts are coming to a venue in south Essex.

Romesh Ranganathan and Ed Gamble will perform at the Cliffs Pavilion in Southend at separate shows in 2026 and 2027.

Both comedians are well known for their TV appearances and popular podcast projects, and have each won awards for their work.

Romesh Ranganathan

Romesh Ranganathan will bring his latest tour, Romesh Ranganathan Will Change Your Life, to the Cliffs Pavilion on December 2-3.

The show promises to deliver the comedian's trademark humour and outlook on everyday life, with tongue-in-cheek claims that the experience could "improve your self esteem" or even "change your life."

Ranganathan is a familiar face from television and radio, including The Misadventures of Romesh Ranganathan, Rob & Romesh Vs, A League Of Their Own, and The Weakest Link, as well as his BBC Radio 2 Saturday morning show.

This tour is strictly for audiences aged 14 and over, with the show expected to contain strong language and adult themes.

Tickets are on sale now, starting from £37.

Ed Gamble

Ed Gamble will take to the stage with his new show, Ed Gamble: Fresh Hell, on February 19, 2027, as part of a new UK and Ireland tour.

Gamble is known as co-host of the popular Off Menu podcast with James Acaster and hosts visualised spin-off podcasts including The Traitors: Uncloaked and Taskmaster The Podcast.

He will also appear in a new panel show, Unacceptable, airing this summer.

Fresh Hell follows Gamble's sold-out world tour, which took him across Europe, North America, and Australasia.

Like Ranganathan’s show, the performance is for audiences aged 14 and above, with similar adult content expected.

Tickets for Ed Gamble: Fresh Hell are also available starting from £37.

Both shows are expected to draw large crowds, with tickets anticipated to sell quickly.
