Five new shops are set to open at Lakeside this year as part of a major investment at the West Thurrock shopping centre.

Urban Outfitters

Urban Outfitters is set to open in summer 2026 on the lower level.

The 6,500 sq ft space will offer menswear, womenswear, accessories, and homeware from the brand’s proprietary lines, including Urban Outfitters Masterbrand, BDG, iets frans, Kimchi Blue, Loom, and Ayker.

The store will be designed as a cultural hub, with a space designed for social connection, curated music, and a dynamic lifestyle offering.

Bershka

Inditex's fast-fashion brand, Bershka, will open in summer 2026, occupying a 12,500 sq ft unit.

The store will join Lakeside's fashion line-up alongside Zara, Stradivarius, and Pull and Bear.

Hollister

Hollister, an Abercrombie & Fitch Co. brand, is confirmed to be opening soon at Lakeside near the food court.

The store will be located near the new Bershka store among a major investment at the centre to boost its fashion offering.

Lego

The new 217m2 Lego store will be the 23rd in the UK and the first in Essex.

It will feature immersive experiences, including a pick-a-brick wall and build-a-minifigure tower.

The store will be located on the first floor and will house a large range of exclusive Lego products.

Space NK

Space NK will launch its new store at the Thurrock shopping destination on August 4.

It will join existing Essex sites in Chelmsford and Loughton.

The brand is currently advertising for a store manager, assistant manager, and supervisor for the new location.
