Officers carried out a warrant at a property in a seaside town, which saw two people arrested for drug offences.

A 52-year-old man from Clacton and a 37-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

Both remain in custody for questioning.

The warrant was carried out by the Tendering Neighbourhood Policing Team at a property in Clacton, supported by colleagues from the Operational Support Group.

A spokesman for the force said: "Essex Police remain committed to tackling drug supply and the harm it causes within our communities."

Investigations are ongoing.
