Football fans planning to watch England's 1am World Cup showdown with Mexico can now see which Southend pubs will be staying open for the late-night fixture.
The match, taking place in the early hours of Monday, July 6, will see pubs and bars across England and Wales able to stay open until 5am following a temporary Government extension of alcohol licensing hours.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer said: "Pubs staying open till the final whistle is good news for supporters and good news for the pubs and venues that bring our communities together."
The extension means fans will be able to watch the full game without venues needing to apply for individual late licences.
A Southend Council spokesman said: "Throughout this World Cup season, we are encouraging residents to support local businesses.
"Plenty of bars, pubs, and restaurants will be screening the games, along with exclusive matchday deals, DJs, air conditioning, and lots more.
