A child and adult have been taken to hospital after being injured in a crash in Upminster.

The crash on the A127 Southend Arterial Road was reported to the London Ambulance Service at 5.35am yesterday (August 17).

Ambulance crews, paramedics in fast response cars, an incident response officer, and a clinical team manager were dispatched to the junction joining traffic from Hall Lane.

Other emergency service colleagues from the London Fire Brigade and Metropolitan Police Service were in attendance.

The emergency services parked across the lanes on the A127 to block the road.

At the scene, three people were found in need of medical attention.

A child and an adult were then taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening nor life-changing.
