A car has smashed into a home in south Essex, causing major damage.
The incident appears to have happened in the early hours of the morning on Hermes Way in Shoebury.
A dark coloured BMW was pictured wedged into the front door.
The car appeared to have travelled over the pavement and the house was left with damage to its exterior.
A police cordon remains around the house.
The emergency services have been contacted for an update.
