A man accused of the kidnap and murder of another man who was found seriously injured in a car park is facing trial next year.
Jack Sullivan, 21, from Waltham Abbey, was allegedly kidnapped from the town on June 22 and later found seriously injured in a car park in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire.
He was taken to hospital where he died on June 26, Essex Police said.
Kevhaunne Williams, 26, of Beechfield Walk, Waltham Abbey, appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court on Friday, charged with kidnap and murder.

Prosecutor Peter Gair said the provisional medical cause of Mr Sullivan's death was recorded as a head injury.
Williams was remanded in custody until a plea hearing at the same court on October 16. No application for bail was made.
A provisional trial date has been set for March 1, with a time-estimate of three weeks.
Detectives have previously appealed for help to find Mr Sullivan’s blue Louis Vuitton trainers, valued at around £1,000.
Police said the investigation remains ongoing.
A 24-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy, both from London, remain on police conditional bail.
