Drivers are facing increasing delays on the A13 following a collision.
The incident occurred on the eastbound carriageway between the Five Bells Interchange and the Stanford-le-Hope turn off.
The crash has reportedly blocked to road, according to the AA, causing traffic to queue.

Congestion is stretching back towards Orsett Cock, with delays of around 19 minutes and average speeds down to just 10 miles per hour.
