Young book lovers can enjoy a reading and craft activity in Southend later this month.
Children's author Hollie Hughes will present her new title, The Green Child, from 10am to noon at The Forum on Friday, October 30.
The session is suitable for children aged three and above, with bookseller Jacqson Diego offering copies for purchase.
A library spokesman said: "Tickets are free and available from our Eventbrite page."
