Since 1921, I have witnessed and experienced the considerable status adjustment of women.
This, in the main, can be attributed to their tremendous contributions during the Second World War.
Prior to this they were tied to the house and subservient. From their activities and sacrifices in the war years, they became more aware of their ability to be independent and think for themselves.
One female who did not have to concern herself about status is the Queen.
What an outstanding person she has turned out to be. There is something that hasn’t moved forward. We are referred to as the United Kingdom.
If it is not too late or considered silly, why not show our appreciation of Her Majesty by updating the United Kingdom to the United Queendom?
