COLLEGE students donned gowns and mortar boards when they became the first to graduate from Seevic with a degree.
In total, 19 students from the Thundersley college successfully completed the two-year foundation degree in Early Years which is validated by the University of Hertfordshire.
The course examines different practices and approaches to childcare and asks students to demonstrate best practice for child welfare.
The college, which also offers a degree in sports coaching and education accredited by Anglia Ruskin University, is hoping to increase the number of graduates.
Principal Sarah Wright said: “The evening was a wonderful celebration of achievement.”
