THE boys are back in town...yes, it’s Limehouse Lizzy.

Formed to celebrate the music of the late Phil Lynott and Thin Lizzy, Limehouse are one of the UK’s leading tribute acts and promise a night of energetic rock.

The four-piece will perform at the Riga Music Bar, in Milton Road, Westcliff, on Friday night.

The band have been on the road for many years, with various lineups, but always fronted by bass player and singer, Wayne Ellis. Limehouse Lizzy play music from all stages of Thin Lizzy’s career and are respected as one of the better tribute acts on the circuit. Top gigs in the past have included the Rhodes Rock Festival, in Greece, and the Virgin Atlantic Music Festival, in Barbados. The band also featured in the BBC Arena documentary about tribute bands.

And just like the real thing, the live set features classic tracks such as Whisky in the Jar, Black Rose and the Boys are Back in Town.
