FIRE crews were called to help a family whose water pipes had burst.
Rayleigh Weir firefighters attended the call at 10.30pm on Thursday to a house in Stirling Close, Rayleigh.
Water was coming through the ceiling into the ground floor.
Crews turned off the water supply and contacted a plumber.
