LEADING blues vocalist Paul Cox will return to the New Crawdaddy Blues Club tomorrow, accompanied by French guitar sensation Charlie Fabert.

Paul is a familiar face at the club and has appeared on numerous occasions playing with his own band as well as, more recently, with the Blues Pack.

The latest visit marks the local leg of a UK tour with Fabert, a 21-year-old blues and soul prodigy.

Paul Dean, promoter for the club, says: “Paul Cox is respected for his soulful approach to his brand of rocking blues. He’s received accolades from his peers and critics, and is one of Britain’s finest blues/soul singers.

“With his enthusiastic approach to performing, he has built up a reputation as producing one of the most enjoyable nights out around.

“Charlie Fabert is considered one of the most gifted guitarists of his generation. The combination of Paul and Charlie received a rapturous reception at the British Blues award-winning Blues on the Farm Festival at Barleylands earlier this year.

“This has been repeated at venues throughout France and now the UK as they tour together.”

Doors for the gig at the New Crawdaddy Blues Club, the Belvedere, Harding Elms Road, Crays Hill open at 8.15pm and admission is £7. For more information, call 01702-347007 or visit www.newcrawdaddyclub.co.uk
