Once again the Echo has proved the value of having a local press, in exposing the actions of a clamping company which has held so many motorists to ransom over such a long time, while councils and those known as motoring organisations have done nothing to protect motorists.
Even the police when called by a motorist who was having their vehicle taken from them just stood by and took no action.
