I’m amazed by the number of people who continually put their rubbish out for collection on the wrong day.

Almost every week I see pink recycling sacks on the week that they are not collected.

On weeks containing bank holidays, surely everyone knows rubbish collections will be a day late, but the bags are still put out on the normal day.

Then during the Christmas and new year period, despite the council supplying every household with a revised collection schedule, we still see sacks put out on what would be the normal collection day.

Is it because people deliberately ignore these schedules, or do they just want to put their rubbish in the street so that it can annoy everybody else?

There’s more than enough rubbish in the streets already without adding to it.
