The old, infirm and disabled are being kept at home due to clubs and centres closing.
How dare Southend Council do this to my son and every other kid that goes to all these clubs. My son won’t be able to join in with his mates, have fun, socialise.
It is saving money only to make others suffer. Some children have built up good relationships with staff and key workers and now the council is going to make some of them redundant, severing links from the children, who will be most upset.
These sort of changes will always happen and most times writing letters and demonstrating won’t change a thing, but I will always fight and warn other people who use these services to be prepared. Because before too long they will be fighting for their child to have fun, just as much as Johnny next door.
Join my petition at Facebook by typing in Club Inclusion Shoebury and support me to stop these changes happening.
