RESIBLOCK, based in Burnt Mills, Basildon, is an unsung local success story, despite the fact that half the world has trampled all over it. Since its launch in 1992, Resiblock has grown to become one of the largest companies involved in the securing and stabilisation of pavements in the world. Resiblock supplies its own patented and branded sealant. Its own expert staff then manage its application on site.
As well as the Disneyland, Hong Kong, and London O2 projects, its work can be found spread across the world’s pavements from Portland, Oregon to Christchurch, New Zealand.
Resiblock has not stopped growing since it was founded. Sales rose 15 per cent over the previous business year.
Resiblock has one other proud boast, director Martin Catling says: “We have never had a claim against us.”
