It was good to see Angela Wilson regarding Southend East Station and the lack of lifts for many users. I have been trying to get a response from c2c with regards to lifts and access for many users to no avail.
During the snow it was very difficult for many to cross the bridge and if you had luggage, prams or disabled, let alone in a wheelchair, it was impossible to cross over from one side to the other. The south side may have step free access, however, how do you get from one side to the other?
With a day travel card now costing nearly £25, surely users should be able to get across from one platform to another without having to call a taxi.
