I received a letter from Royal Mail informing me of changes to “maintain” services in my area of Laindon.
The result is a complete and utter disaster. Since previous well-documented problems with local mail a few years back, we have had the same post lady who has been outstanding.
Regular and reliable deliveries, helpful and friendly.
She has vanished into thin air, leaving us with a different post person every day, no deliveries some days, torn mail and wrong mail.
We have gone from receiving mail in the morning to receiving it as late as 5pm.
One of the postmen told me he had been sent from Colchester, couldn’t find lots of addresses and was taking half of the mail back to the sorting office.
We want our post woman back – now!
