There has never been a better excuse to wrap yourself round a pole and dance seductively.
Pole-dancing instructors Lisa Pittaway and Nicole Wall will hold three sessions on October 29 to raise money for Southend Hospital's breast cancer unit.
For £5, women can get jiggy with it at Freestyle Fitness, in London Road, Westcliff, with all of the proceeds going to the hospital.
There will be sessions from 10.30am to 11.30am, noon to 1pm, and 1.30pm to 2.30pm.
Lisa said: "Breast cancer is an important women's cause and this is for the local hospital."
Pole dancing is fast becoming one of the more popular ways of keeping fit.
Lisa, who runs Poledance UK with Nicole, said: "It's fun to do and it's a complete body workout. We have people of all shapes and all ages.
"We have just had a woman of 59 join our classes and she absolutely loves it."
