HUNDREDS of parents enjoyed a night of drama at the New Empire Theatre - being entertained by their children.
Pupils from Crowstone Preparatory School's Sutton site, in Fleet Hall Lane, Rochford, put on performances of mime, music, dance and acting at the theatre on Tuesday.
Louise Manders, head of drama at Crowstone, said: "The performance was so well-received. Everybody loved it.
"There were around 200 people watching the performances by students, who were from years one to six.
"One of the acts was about bullying. We are trying to tackle serious subjects through drama."
