Police in Westcliff are appealing for witnesses to a road collision that left an elderly man with serious injuries.
The 80-year-old man was in collision with a car, believed to be a silver Astra saloon in Bridgwater Drive at around 8.45am on Wednesday September 23.
The driver of the car failed to stop. Officers and the ambulance service attended and the man was taken to hospital with injuries to his head and arm.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information is asked to contact Pc Myles Hilbery at Laindon RPU on 101.
