YOUNGSTERS took part in the Musical Monday Fun Day to learn all about different instruments.
The half term event took place at St Mary’s Church of England Primary School in Southend and was for children and young people of all standards and abilities.
Rosemary Pennington, cultural development officer at Southend Council, said: “We had a group of very talented and keen young musicians. Some were beginners and some were more experienced.
There was a huge range of instruments played including the violin, the saxophone, the guitar, the trumpet, the ukulele, the recorder, the keyboard and more.
“It was a great success. The children all learnt something new about their instruments and other instruments and they had fun making music together.”
