FAMILIES have been fighting their way through a maze of maize.
The maze, which is in its third year, has attracted hundreds of people at Hadleigh Castle Country Park.
Senior ranger Steve Bunn said visitors had ranged from toddlers to pensioners and they had all enjoyed wandering through the sea of maize.
He said: "It's definitely challenging and it's probably the hardest one we've built.
"It's just more twists and turns rather than lots of straight lines like we had last year."
The attraction was set up three years ago when staff at the country park enlisted the help of maze expert Jeff Saward, who lives down the road in Thundersley.
It now opens each year at the beginning of August and runs for about a month before the maize is harvested and then used for animal feed.
Mr Bunn said: "The maze will stay up until the end of the month when we hold a scary night, where people can walk around in the evening.
"We have about 800 people or more come down for that because it's such good fun."
