Wonderful -- the estuary at Leigh
SOUTHEND and Leigh have been named as two of the top seaside towns in the country.
A Halifax survey, which assessed 117 seaside towns, found Leigh the second best resort for quality of life and Southend the sixth.
Southend is also named as one of the best value coastal towns for buying property, with homes around 18 per cent cheaper than the average for Essex.
