GREASE is the Word finalist Joanna Power has penned a ballad for missing girl Madeleine McCann.

Joanna, 22, recorded the moving tune and posted it on her MySpace page to try to keep the search for Maddy alive.

The British girl has now been missing for 103 days after disappearing from a holiday apartment in Portugal.

Joanna, of Anvil Way, Billericay, was inspired to write the tribute, called Little Girl, after she and fellow Grease finalist Richard Morgan were asked to perform at a fundraising concert for Maddy in Leicestershire.

She said: "I wrote the song for the concert. I wanted it to be positive and hopeful."

It features lyrics such as: "Don't ever stop believing, don't ever lose your faith, 'cause we'll never give up searching, till we see you again."

Joanna said the concert organisers were trying to make it the official campaign song.

She said she would like to see it become a fundraiser for missing children across the world. To listen to the song, visit Joanna's MySpace by clicking the link below.
