A STYLIST is itching to prove he is a cut above the rest after making it to the final six in the Men's Hairdresser of the Year Award.
Jim Shaw, 42, who works in the Essensuals Toni & Guy salon, in High Street, Billericay, submitted four styles to make it to the final of the British Hairdressing Awards 2007.
He must now enter another four to be judged by industry experts. Jim, of Billericay, said: "I was delighted when I received a letter telling me I was a finalist.
"To be recognised among your peers as being one of the country's leading hairdressers is a wonderful feeling and a fantastic achievement."
The results will be announced in November.
