A MINI exhibition of wartime artefacts has gone on show at a Basildon funeral home.
Angela Glynn, manager of the Co-operative Funeralcare branch in the town has put together the display of old shell casings, a soldier's helmet and photographs of the trenches, all from World War One, as part of the company's annual Poppy Appeal.
Angela said: "We have launched our Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal and thought it would be nice to put some actual wartime items on public display at out branch for people to look over."
