POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist died from serious head injuries following a smash with a Ford Mondeo.
Kenneth Lofthouse, 55, was cycling along Westbourne Grove, Southend, on October 27 when his pedal bike collided with a blue Ford Mondeo.
He died of his injuries at Romford's Queens Hospital on Saturday, November 3.
Police want to hear from anyone who was in the area, particularly the driver of a light coloured car who was seen in Westbourne Grove at 9.25am, when the accident happened.

* The 25-year-old local driver of the Mondeo, has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and released on police bail.
