A CHARITY has celebrated 20 years of helping families with young children.
Home Start South East Essex marked its birthday with a lunch at Saxon Hall, Aviation Way, Southend.
The group promotes the welfare of Southend and Castle Point families with at least one child aged under five.
Manager Gill Rowe, who has worked with the group for ten years, said: "Marking 20 years is fantastic, especially in this day and age when local charities have problems getting funding."
The group is based in Southchurch Road, Southend.
