TWO people have been arrested after a huge haul of drugs and cash were found in a car.
The Essex Roads Policing Unit stopped a car in the Basildon area yesterday where they made the discovery.
The unit said there was a "fair amount" of Class A drugs stashed in the car following a search, along with £1,500 in cash.
Two people have been arrested in connection to the incident for drug related offences, and one was also arrested on suspicion of driving whilst disqualified.
They remain in custody for questioning.
The unit posted that dealing drugs is "not an essential journey" reminding people that they must only leave the house for essential activity such as food shopping, work if not able to work from home, and seeking medical attention or caring for others.
