The coronavirus pandemic has resulted in businesses up and down the country going bust - but do you remember heading to these firms in Southend ten years ago.
Keen photographer Gaz de Vere headed to the then-bustling streets of our seaside town to grab snaps of shops, banks and nightlife venues.
In the midst of a global pandemic and a third national lockdown, Gaz has headed back to the same streets of Southend to see which businesses are no longer in Southend and have been replaced.
High street retailers such as BHS have disappeared, with a new Primark outlet now in its place after opening last year.

Many of us will remember heading to B&Q, T J Hughes and Lloyds TSB a decade ago, but these photographs show what is now on offer.
Brand new - Primark took over the former BHS retail space on Southend High Street and opened for the first time last October
Gone - B&Q is pictured boarded up soon after closing its doors to customers
Bustling - the Range is situated behind Southend Victoria train station and opened in December 2013
