Storm Darcy has resulted in Southend, Basildon and Canvey being covered in a blanket of snow in recent days - and your pets have loved every second!

The coronavirus pandemic has resulted in all of us spending extensive periods of time indoors, so the snow gave us a nice reason to spend some Covid-safe time outside with our four-legged friends.

We asked you to share some snaps of your pets enjoying some time in the snow - and you didn’t disappoint.

Some got to play in the snow for the first time, while others were confused by the white stuff.
