A cannabis farm worth thousands in street value was found by Essex Police while they searched for a wanted man.
Southend Proactive Team joined forces with the Special Constabulary to target wanted offenders.
While searching for a wanted man, they located a cannabis cultivation with a street value in excess of £40,000.
A male was arrested inside the property and was charged and remanded for production of cannabis and abstracting electricity.
Sharing their discovery on social media, Essex Police said: "Southend Proactive Team joined forces with the Special Constabulary last night to target wanted offenders.
"As result of our actions whilst searching for a wanted male we located a cannabis cultivation with a street value of £40,000 and arrested a male in the property.
"We successfully charged and remanded him for production of cannabis and abstracting electricity."
