CORONAVIRUS is still "supressed" across most of south Essex, according to an interactive map.
In almost districts of south Essex, there has been less than three Covid cases reported in the latest data set.
In the figures up to May 23, only six areas are not considered by the Government's Covid interactive map as having "supressed" the virus.
These areas are as follows:
- Laindon Central (Basildon) - three cases, 29 cases per 100,000
- Eastwood (Southend) - three cases, 29 cases per 100,000
- St Lukes (Southend) - three cases, 27 cases per 100,000
- Westborough (Southend) - three cases, 27 cases per 100,000
