POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a hit-and-run collision with a teenager.
The collision left the youngster with minor injuries.
The 14-year-old boy from Laindon was hit by a black Mitsubishi Colt, driven by a man, as it was reversing.
The vehicle left the scene before police arrived.
It happened at 8.40am, on Thursday, in Leinster Road, Laindon, outside James Hornsby High School at the junction with Palmer Close.
