A FORMER student is going to be training supply teachers at her old school.

Nicky Keller, 33, a former pupil at St Clere’s School and Language College, in Stanford-le -Hope, moved to Lincolnshire 10 years ago, where she started a teacher supply agency, Education Resourcing.

She is now launching an Essex branch of the firm and has arranged for her supply teachers to be trained at her old school.

Nicky said: “I am working in partnership with the school and its head Paul Griffiths and will be using its training services to train my teachers and instructor supply teachers.

“Schools are being over charged with the quality of supply teachers not being up to standard. We plan to help all the schools in the area.” Headteacher at St Clere’s Paul Griffiths, said: “We are keen to work in partnership with Education Resources Ltd to raise the standard of supply staff.”
