TALENTED fashion students showed off some unusual collections when they put on a catwalk show.
Textile students at Seevic College, in Thundersley, created clothes using old CDs, sweet wrappers and magazines as part of a brief to create clothes with a recycling theme.
They also produced outfits under the banner of the Water Collection, inspired by drawings and photos taken by Runnymede swimming pool, and a White Winter Collection using nothing but shower curtains.
Student Lucy Garner, 18, from Rochford, said: “We are used to seeing our work on mannequins, but the clothes seemed to come alive when seen on the real models.”
