A GLAMOUROUS evening of dancing and fundraising is being organised by Basildon Hospital.
The hospital is hosting the black tie Touch of Pink Ball at the David Lloyd Centre at the Festival Leisure Park, on Saturday April 25.
The event is in aid of the hospital’s Scope in Time Appeal, which is raising funds for the treatment and diagnosis of bowel cancer.
Guests will be greeted with a champagne and oyster reception, before being ushered inside a special starlit marquee.
Inside, a luxury buffet and charity auction will await, along with a surprise guest speaker.
Kirsty O’Callaghan, hospital fundraising manager said: “A lot of effort is being put into planning the ball to make sure it is a magical night for all of our guests.
“We decided to ask guests to wear ‘a touch of pink’ in their outfit to show their support for the Scope in Time appeal.”
