ESSEX Police Authority is organising a series of meetings in supermarkets so local people can give their views on policing.
Local officers will be on hand at the events, along with police authority members.
Stephen Keogh, who works for the authority, urged residents to come along, explaining: “What you tell us really does make a difference and will help shape policing in your area.”
The events are at: Asda’s Eastgate Centre branch, Basildon, on June 9; Sainsbury’s at Rayleigh Weir, on June 11; Somerfield, Rochford on June 17; Tesco, Princes Avenue, Westcliff, on June 18. All events are between 11am and 2pm.
