ARSONISTS have targeted two homes on Canvey, shoving lit pieces of paper through letterboxes while the homeowners slept upstairs.
Police believe the early morning attacks yesterday in Oxford Road and Rosback Road may be linked.
Essex Police spokesman Alan Jones said it was lucky no one was hurt.
He added: “We are following up a number of leads, but obviously we can’t rule out the possibility that these two incidents were connected.”
